⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unboxing and Product Review - KYOWA MULTI-COOKER KW3800.

 

The Philippine Government pronounced - that another Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) will be taking place effective August 6 to 20, 2021. This is already the third hard-lockdown forced by the Government since 2020 when the Covid19 Pandemic started to hit the country. As part of my preparation, I stocked groceries inside my unit and planning that I will be cooking my own food for the rest of the said lockdown. This has been my practice ever since the Pandemic – preparing my own food every meal. 

Unfortunately, the Dowell Induction Cooker that I’ve been using for almost one year had a problem. I brought it to the nearest appliance repair shop, and almost four weeks passed – still they haven’t fixed it yet. In addition, my small multi-cooker is no longer in my possession as I decluttered my condo unit and I sent it to the province so they can use it. I decided to buy a new Induction Cooker online but sadly I got a defective item and I have to return it to the seller. 

Since I ended up with nothing left to use in cooking my food, I purchased a multi-cooker.

Honest Review

First Impression: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Aesthetically, It has glossy-finished and I loved the combination of colors black and red which reminds me of the ILO Multi-cooker from O-shopping when they were still in operation. Actually, the color of the said Kyowa Multi-Cooker matched on my Ilo Air-fryer.

It is also a space-saver which is perfect if you’re living in a small apartment or condominium unit.  

Price ⭐⭐⭐⭐

When it comes to the price which is amounting to Php3, 360, I must admit that it is quite pricey for me as someone who works in a 9-5 job. But the price is something we might forget in the latter part of the product will last longer as expected. As of the time being, I can’t say that the product is durable because it takes years for you to say that the product is really worth the price when you’ve used it for a long span of time. Honestly, buying this appliance on Php3, 360 amount is undeniably a gamble but when I actually added this item to the cart, I’ve read several positive reviews which makes me feel confident to check this out and pay. I’ll just hope for the best.

Power Consumption.⭐⭐⭐⭐

Honestly, this is the area that I cannot provide any feedback on because I am not monitoring my electricity at all since I am using Pre-paid Mercalco Kuryente Load, I only get every morning a notification on how much I have consumed for the past 24 hours. I have numerous appliances operating 24 hours like Air-condition, refrigerator, modem, Himalayan lamp, and others- that I ignored monitoring the amount since the electric price in Manila is stressful to keep an eye on. But I must say, nothing changes from my day-to-day consumption so far. 

Final Thought. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

In the span of one week, I’ve been cooking few dishes e.g. Pork Adobo sa Pula, Pork Sinigang, and Pork Red Curry. The product cooks fast and it is reliable. It delivers well as what I am expecting. I only find it hassle when washing it because due to its pot’s size, it doesn’t fit on my tiny sink. But overall, I love the said product and I hope this will last longer.

An Eventful Day in My Life: Earthquake Scare, Flip-Flop Hunt, and Caring for My Sick Dog

Hey, everyone! Today’s vlog is a mix of unexpected twists and everyday adventures. My day took an interesting turn right from the start when an earthquake suddenly hit at 0:10. On July 24, 2021, I was going about my routine when everything started shaking. I captured my initial reactions and the anxiety that followed. It’s moments like these that remind us how unpredictable life can be, and I’m sharing the raw, unfiltered thoughts I had as I navigated through the quake's aftermath. If you’ve ever experienced an earthquake, you’ll definitely relate!

Life doesn’t stop for anything, though, and I continued my day with a more lighthearted mission at 2:11 – shopping for new flip-flops and grabbing a treat for my furry buddy. There’s something simple yet fulfilling about finding the perfect pair of flip-flops and knowing your dog is about to have the time of his life with a new chew toy. These little errands became a moment of joy and relaxation amidst the earlier chaos. If you’re a fellow dog lover, you’ll appreciate the happiness that a small gesture like this can bring to our fur babies.

However, the day wasn’t all smooth sailing. At 9:11, things took a concerning turn when my American Bully suddenly fell ill. As any pet parent knows, seeing your fur baby in discomfort is incredibly stressful. I documented the moments of worry, uncertainty, and hope as I tried to figure out what was wrong and how to make him feel better. Between the tail-wagging joy of watching him enjoy Dog TV and the anxiety of caring for a sick pet, this day was a true rollercoaster of emotions. 

I hope this vlog resonates with anyone who’s experienced both the highs and lows of daily life, especially those who cherish their pets as much as I do.

👩‍🍳HONEST REVIEW | My First Hand Experience Using Dowell Induction Cooker IC-377.

 

December 2019 when I bought I bunch new of home appliances that are essential in my newly-moved condo unit. One of the appliances that I purchased was the Dowell Induction Cooker IC-377 model with 1600W. I got it from SM Department Appliance Store which was amounting to around Php2000 plus. If you check the price online in Lazada or Shopee, it is still the same price up until now. 

The said item was stocked inside the box and never been used because  I was frequently using the small multifunctional cooker every time  I cook foods that brought whenever  I go to work. When the COVID19 pandemic entered the Philippines, the lockdown started in March 2020 and I have started working from home since then. Since the eateries were closed for weeks and got extended more weeks, I have to cook my food inside my condo since buying meals every meal time outside is quite difficult and unsafe.  July 2020 when I decided to use the Induction Cooker that was stocked for months. 

Honestly, I love the cooker because it cooks the food very well and quickly. There are 7 presets that you can choose depending on your meal to prepare and 8 adjustable temperatures. In addition, it is easy to clean, just wipe it with a clean cloth and soap, and you’re good to go. When you Push Button control you will see a 4 Digit display to monitor the time, temperature, and voltage. There is also a Timer Setting to program and Auto shut off function. Unfortunately, I can’t say if it is an energy-efficient product because I have no chance to monitor it as I am using numerous appliances inside my condo unit.

When it comes to aesthetics, I don’t have questions as this fits in one corner and the dark color of the item won’t show easily when a mess happens. I was even planning to have it built-in on the countertop when as I planned to have a renovation and build a small kitchen.  However, this might no longer happen because the cooker spark this month of July 2020 and it is no longer working since then.  If I started using it in July 2020 and not working in July 2020, the product only lasted for 12 months to be exact.

I was disappointed with the fact that it didn’t reach 5 years regardless of how I used it with care. The worst part of it, when I de-cluttered my unit during the lockdown, I threw away the warranty paper but I think, it is no longer usable because the purchased date was Dec. 2019; I just didn’t use it. In reality, I only used it for 12 months and if we think about it, durability is questionable undeniably. 

I brought the defective item to the nearest repair shop named Love Electronics Service Center. It is located in Facilities Centre, 54B Shaw Blvd, and Highway Hills Mandaluyong city – near SNR Shaw. After inspection, they quoted me PHP1200 for the repair. Honestly, I was reluctant if have to take the deal because I can buy a new induction cooker for that amount, hence a different brand which I can’t be sure if it is durable or not. But I just took the deal since I need to get have the cooker as this is needed badly. I need to cook on my own and not buy foods every now and then.

Maybe, I will just give another 12 months when I got the newly-repaired item and hopefully, it will last because if this will stop functioning in the latter part, then it will be time to dispose of this cooker and give it a try the HYUNDAI cooker as my friend recommends it and after four years, it is still working. Let us see!

🎓Having a College Degree Doesn't Solely Guarantee You a Success.

We always bear in mind that after you graduate, with or without flying colors from college, you’ll end up with a very easy life. Companies will easily hire you because of your degree and once hired, you’ll earn a high income with the easy tasks; quality of life will become better and your diploma will save you from poverty.

Education is the key to success. That is what we’ve always been taught by our beloved teachers when we’re at school. But it is a big lie because Education is only one of the keys and not solely your assurance that you’ll end up with a better life. There might numerous of you who will disagree with my opinion but it is true because Education is only a tool for us to avoid ignorance and for us to build our confidence in facing the real world. We can avoid ignorance because tons of knowledge is being acquired when we study and we build confidence because of the diplomas we are given during the graduation ceremony. The norms taught us that thinking. 

Unfortunately, there are bachelor degree holders are ended up in jail, underemployed, unemployed, and worst, not able to increase the quality of life as expected. On contrary, I’ve known some successful individuals who were able to reach their dreams even if they’re not able to send themselves to school. Some became business tycoons, highest-paid artists, and well-compensated employees just because they’re exposed to reality outside the world. Responding to the fast pacing and dynamic outside world can’t be learned by just reading books and staying in a four-corner classroom listening to the teachers who you’ve thought know everything in life. But the reality is your knowledge that you will be getting inside the school – you can only use a portion of it when you go outside the school. 

Based on my personal experience, outside school is the real battle. It is always a jungle out there wherein survival of the fittest should always be practice. Companies won’t go to your graduate school to pick you up and automatically hire you right away; you have to go on job hunting, get rejected, and do it all over again until hired. In addition, not all your acquired knowledge and degree can be used in many cases. We have innumerable medical graduates like registered nurses who got paid higher in the call center industry in comparison when they practice their profession – and it is simply because of “UNDEREMPLOYMENT”.

Undeniably, the key to success is not solely education. It is all about how we adapt to change so quickly in line with the needs of certain skills, talent, and workforce. In fact, you can even gain a certificate online as a data analyst in six months and will get the highest-paid job after (Watch Video Here). It is you - who can wisely play against the tricky game of life.

Herbs and Spices - Pasalubong, all the way from Morocco.

Morocco, a North African country bordering the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, is distinguished by its Berber, Arabian, and European cultural influences. Marrakesh’s medina, a mazelike medieval quarter, offers entertainment in its Djemaa el-Fna square and souks (marketplaces) selling ceramics, jewelry, and metal lanterns.

The said Country is also famous for its Moroccan Spices and Herbs. Common spices include cinnamon, cumin, turmeric, ginger, paprika, coriander, saffron, mace, cloves, fennel, anise, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, fenugreek, caraway, black pepper, and sesame seeds. Spices are used extensively in Moroccan food and Cooks use it on poultry, fish, vegetables, and couscous. The Moroccan spices mentioned are, as a general rule of thumb, perfectly safe to use for normal culinary purposes and in occasional home remedies–ginger tea, as an example–but if you're interested in using spices or herbs for medicinal purposes, do consult a doctor and take time to do your own research. For me, I just used those to level up my cooking.

Mid-performance, they kept increasing the key, and guess what? Gigi absolutely slew every note like a total vocal powerhouse!

🐕‍🦺Tips on How to Become Alpha Leader Over Your Dogs.

Having a Dog in your life is not easy but the joy they bring into our lives is beyond description. Indeed, being a dog owner is not just solely calling you a “Furparent” but showing your dominance to your dog is extremely essential so they won’t control your relationship in the latter part. Dogs need a dominant, alpha leader; a being who is calm and very strong-minded. That is a dog’s natural behavior when they were living in the wilderness. They instinctually crave this leadership and guidance when they became domesticated and pet.

 

Since they do not live in pack; dogs’ lives evolve between them and humans (also known as hoomans). And so, unstable humans make unstable dogs. Size means nothing, it is all about your energy, firmness, and it is how the hooman’s feeling inside that dogs are mirroring. A hooman who lacks confidence will not have a dog who listens to their commands. 

Dog Lovers are normally emotionally unstable when dealing with a dog’s behavior. Have you seen your dogs’ eyes – the way they look at you every time you put your foods in your mouth? Undeniably, you can’t stop sharing your foods with them and it became a habit and you just noticed them jumping on you during dinner. Seems a bad behavior isn’t it? But have you asked – what drives them of becoming “One”? Well, it is simply you forgot that you’re the ALPHA; you followed your emotion which makes you weak.

In this video, I will share with you how my American Bully became submissive every time I corrected his bad behavior. 

Watch My Dog’s Reaction Being Scolded for No Reason.

Just to share, Escobar is scared of his poops because when he accidentally stepped on it, I showed him how angry I was and I even punished him. Nowadays, he makes sure that he won’t step on it and if he does, you will see him trembling in one corner assuming to be punished. 

Honestly, there is no definite way to explain how you reach this alpha position. Being dominant over your dog does not mean you should be hurting your dog. It means you must communicate to the dog who the leader is going to be. Pack leaders are not aggressive, angry, or bossy which we should not embody as hooman. We’re not dominant-aggressive, we are calm-assertive.

🧹Using Enzymatic Cleaner for Dog’s Urine and Poops.

Undeniably, pets bring joy into our lives. With Escobar, my American Bully Breed, I found myself as more of an “obliged dog owner” since I have no one to take care of him on my behalf. I am obliged to wake up every time I noticed that something smells bad coming from the bathroom.

The good thing with my dog, he knew where to pee and poops inside my condo. He also informed me whenever he finished his business by licking my feet until I wake up. But cleaning after your dogs’ pee and poop is not fun even if they’re already potty-trained. Escobar doesn’t know how to use the actual toilet and so, he peed and pooped on the bathroom’s floor. I am obliged to clean up after his business. Sometimes, he accidentally steps on his poop and runs to the bedroom which makes his poops scattered throughout my entire condo unit. 

The smell is really the challenging part of cleaning your dog’s mess. The poops can be easily removed by flashing water but urine will stay longer on the floor. I have to use detergent and Zonrox every time I wash the bathroom’s tiles

Recently, I discovered this Enzymatic Cleaner because Facebook’s algorithm recommended such a product on my feed. I purchased it and gave it a try. Enzymatic cleaners are any cleaning products that use enzymes in their formulas to help break down stains and smell. Enzymes are macromolecular biological catalysts – good bacteria, yeast, and likes, that speed up chemical reactions; this usually occurs in the body, but in the case of enzymatic cleaners, the process is used for a different purpose which for pets, it neutralizes the odor.

📺 Watch : Dogs Are Sensitive And They'll Respond To Your Emotion Accordingly.

This is the highlight of the last vlog that I just uploaded, I re-uploaded this clip because I want to give an emphasis - the sweetness of this breed which is American Bully. I never had a regret of having Him as part of my life. I am only disappointed in those people who misjudged and misunderstood this kind of dog because of how they look like. And so, in this video - I hope you'll see the soul of dogs. they're very sensitive, they can sense your fear, anger, anxiety, and loneliness; and they'll respond to your emotion accordingly.

Show them your anger and they'll distance away from you. 

Show them your loneliness and they'll show you their sociable skills. 

Show them you're depressed and they'll make you feel good. 

Show them your love and their tails will wiggle when you arrive at home.

Dogs only became aggressive because of trauma and due to the way how they grew up, nurtured, and trained. Show them love and they'll show you in return. Always remember; humans can afford to leave humans. But Dogs never abandon hoomans, instead, they'll always remember you. Your smell makes them happy and relax. They'll rather sleep on your dirty laundry to keep your scent with them rather than sleeping with strangers.
