Living on “Mount Urban Deca Tower EDSA”: When Home Becomes a Daily Climb

A personal story about living in Urban Deca Tower EDSA, where broken elevators turned high-rise condo living into a daily climb—highlighting safety concerns, emotional exhaustion, and resident frustration in Manila.

When Home Starts to Feel Like a Mountain

A day in my life at Urban Deca Tower EDSA—or as I jokingly call it now, Mount Urban Deca.

Since December 2025 until January 2026, residents have been forced to climb stairs every single day. Out of four fast elevators, only one is working. Imagine the reality: residents, guests, and Airbnb tenants spread across 42 floors, all struggling just to get home.

The “mount” part is a joke—but only because laughing is sometimes the only way to survive the frustration. In reality, this isn’t funny at all.

🎥 WATCH THE VLOG:

A Problem That Keeps Coming Back

This elevator issue is not new.

I’ve lived here for almost 10 years, and this has become a repeating cycle. Different management companies come and go, but the same problem returns—broken elevators, long waits, and no permanent solution.

What makes it even harder to accept is this:

this condo doesn’t even have many amenities. No pool. No luxury extras. The elevator is one of the few essential services we actually pay monthly dues for—and yet it’s the one that constantly fails.

The Silence Is the Loudest Part

What hurts the most is the silence.

A new management came in, and still—no clear action plan, no transparency, just complaints piling up. It’s exhausting. It’s stressful. And over time, it makes you feel invisible as a resident.

Sometimes I find myself asking a painful question:

Do we really have to wait for a medical emergency before something changes?

Because that’s honestly where this situation is heading.

Fire Exits Are Not Stairways

If I were to report to work daily, I’d have to climb 15 floors up and down using the fire exit.

Anyone who understands building safety knows this:

fire exits are not designed for daily use.

  • Poor ventilation
  • Low oxygen
  • Physically demanding, especially for the elderly, children, or people with medical conditions

Yet here we are—using them like normal stairways because we have no choice.

This Is No Longer Just an Inconvenience

This isn’t about being dramatic.

This isn’t about “arte lang.”

This is now a safety issue.

It’s physical exhaustion.

It’s emotional burnout.

It’s paying for a home that slowly turns into a daily test of patience and endurance.

I’m tired.

And I know I’m not the only one.

High-Rise Living Should Not Feel Like Punishment

Living in a high-rise condo should not feel like you’re being punished for going home.

Basic services should not feel like a privilege.

A home is supposed to give rest—not demand strength every single day.

Until then, welcome to Mount Urban Deca—where every return home feels like another climb.

The Manifestation Mindset: How a ₱15 Choice Reflects Self-Worth and Energy.

self worth mindset, manifestation mindset, spiritual empowerment, conscious living, energy alignment, self respect habits, daily manifestation, abundance mindset, personal growth spirituality, empowered lifestyle, intentional choices, mindset shift, spiritual awakening, law of attraction lifestyle, self care mindset, energy exchange, valuing yourself, conscious spending, modern spirituality, healing mindset

₱15 for Dignity: A Small Choice, A Powerful Energy

I’d honestly rather pay ₱15 for a clean, well-maintained, fresh-smelling restroom than use a free one that’s dirty, poorly kept, and barely functional 😂

Yes, there are free restrooms that are air-conditioned and well maintained. So it becomes a real choice:

  • 👉 Pay for a clean, intentional space or;
  • 👉 Take a 50/50 chance and hope the free one doesn’t drain your energy before you even step inside

And that’s where this becomes more than just about money.

This Is What Manifestation Looks Like in Real Life

Manifestation isn’t always about luxury, big purchases, or aesthetic lifestyles.

Sometimes, it shows up in small, grounded decisions—the kind that reflect how you value yourself on an everyday level.

Choosing to pay for a clean restroom is not being picky.

It’s not being entitled.

It’s not trying to look “above” anyone else. It’s choosing self-respect.

Energy matters. Spaces carry energy.

When you step into a place that’s neglected, chaotic, and unsanitary, your body feels it immediately. You hesitate. You rush. You disconnect.

That’s not alignment. That’s tolerance.

Manifestation Is About Living From Self-Worth, Not Scarcity

True manifestation comes from the belief that you deserve care, safety, and dignity, even in small moments.

This isn’t about spending money recklessly.

It’s about spending consciously.

Because avoiding a small expense while ignoring discomfort, health risks, and stress isn’t abundance—it’s survival mode.

And survival mode teaches the nervous system to accept less than it deserves.

Manifestation works when your actions say:

“I choose what supports me.”

“I honor my body.”

“I don’t need to suffer to prove I’m humble.”

That mindset shifts everything.

You Manifest What You Normalize

If you normalize inconvenience, neglect, and discomfort, you attract more of it.

If you normalize care, cleanliness, and intentional choices, life responds in the same frequency.

This isn’t about being wealthy.

This is about seeing yourself as worthy—now, not someday.

Even a ₱15 decision can be a declaration:

I value myself.

I choose better.

I live in alignment.

And that’s how empowerment quietly becomes manifestation.

Awakening Through Darkness: The True Meaning of Spiritual Maturity

spiritual awakening, shadow work, dark night of the soul, spiritual healing, inner healing journey, awakening consciousness, self awakening, soul awakening, emotional healing, healing trauma spiritually, Carl Jung shadow work, individuation process, spiritual maturity, conscious living, personal transformation, inner peace spirituality, spiritual growth journey, awakening after pain, turning pain into purpose, healing the inner child, spirituality and psychology, mindfulness and awareness, self awareness awakening, spiritual evolution, healing from within, enlightenment through darkness, shadow self integration, awakened soul, spiritual self discovery, spiritual wisdom, overcoming suffering spiritually, faith and healing, intuition awakening, authentic living, healing energy, spiritual motivation, spiritual guidance, awakened mindset, higher consciousness
Awakening is not choosing light over darkness—it is understanding both. Light brings awareness, darkness reveals what needs healing; angels and demons symbolize our higher self and our shadow, while yin and yang remind us that balance creates wholeness. True spiritual awakening happens when we stop denying parts of ourselves and start integrating them with compassion, truth, and self-awareness. To be awakened is to be whole, grounded, and conscious of both your strength and your wounds.

True spiritual awakening does not come from imagining figures of light or chasing constant positivity. As famously reflected in Jungian thought, enlightenment begins when we make the darkness conscious. Awakening happens when we face our shadows, heal what we once avoided, and integrate every part of who we are.

🎥 WATCH THE VLOG:

When this awakening unfolds, life is experienced with a new kind of awareness. You become present. The past no longer haunts you with regret, and the future no longer controls you through anxiety. You begin to realize that everything you were searching for was never outside of you—it was already here.

Ordinary moments start to feel sacred. A quiet sunrise, shared laughter, or silence becomes meaningful. Beauty is no longer something you chase; it reveals itself naturally. This does not mean life suddenly becomes easy. Pain still arises. Loss still visits. But now, you meet life with equanimity instead of resistance. You stop fighting reality and begin dancing with it.

This is spiritual maturity—the realization that you are worthy of peace. You understand that your purpose was never external. It was hidden within the very pain you tried to escape. The soul’s greatest test is not avoiding suffering, but learning how to transform it.

According to Carl Jung, the ultimate purpose of life is individuation—the integration of the conscious and unconscious self. When this happens, personal suffering evolves into compassion. You no longer live only for yourself. Your presence begins to heal others without effort. People may not understand why they feel calmer or safer around you, but it is not coincidence—it is resonance.

After awakening, life shifts from survival to meaning. Humility becomes essential. Awakening does not make you better than others; it makes you more aware. Gratitude becomes your natural language. Happiness is no longer a goal—it becomes a byproduct of authenticity.

Alignment follows. Your inner and outer worlds begin to match. You live with integrity, speak truth even when your voice trembles, and trust life’s rhythm even when the path disappears. Challenges are no longer punishments but invitations to grow. You learn to follow intuition instead of ego, and synchronicities begin to unfold.

A deeper purpose emerges: service. Your healing was never just for you. Whether through art, conversation, teaching, or quiet presence, your lived wisdom becomes guidance for others. Not through preaching—but through embodiment.

The world does not need perfect souls. It needs awakened, real ones—people who have faced their shadows and can offer empathy instead of judgment. Your authenticity gives others permission to be themselves.

There will still be moments of doubt. Old wounds may whisper again. But now, you know how to return. You understand that darkness is not the absence of light—it is the space where light renews itself.

Passing the most painful test of the soul is not a single event. It is an initiation into a new way of being—rooted in awareness, compassion, and faith in life’s mystery. The scars remain, but they no longer hurt. They are proof of transformation.

You are no longer broken.

You are whole.

🌿😭 GOODBYE PLANTITO LIFESTYLE! | Saying Farewell to My Indoor Jungle 🌱💔

Plantito Lifestyle, goodbye plantito, saying goodbye to plants, indoor plants, small space gardening, condo living,micro-living,ornamental plants, urban gardening, houseplants, tiny condo gardening, plant care, halaMANONG,plant lover, plantito problems, indoor jungle, small space living, plant collection, minimalist lifestyle, downsizing plants,13SQM condo, plant journey, plant enthusiast, houseplant care Today’s blog hits differently. It’s emotional, reflective, and bittersweet—as I officially bid goodbye to my beloved Plantito lifestyle, at least for now. For the past few years, especially during lockdown, tending to my indoor jungle brought me peace, purpose, and joy. But now, the time has come to part ways with that chapter of my life.

  🎥 WATCH THE VLOG:

🌱 It All Started With Lockdown…

Back when the world paused and we were all forced to stay home, I found comfort in green. Like many of you, I turned to plants—watching them grow became a symbol of hope during uncertain times. I transformed my 13sqm condo unit into a mini jungle, collecting ornamental greens left and right. From snake plants to pothos, every leaf had a place.

But of course, plantdemic happened. Indoor plants became a trend and, along with the hype, came sky-high prices. I spent a lot—too much, honestly—on pots, ceramic vases, rare cuttings, and trendy foliage. And I’m not going to lie, it was addictive.

🐶 Then Came Escobar...

Life changed again when I welcomed Escobar, my sweet American Bully and emotional support dog. As I shifted focus to pet parenting, the plants slowly became an afterthought. Taking care of both a jungle and a gentle giant in such a small space? Not easy.

🪴 The Harsh Truth About Condo Planting

Let’s be real—plants need air, sunlight, and breathing space. My tiny unit wasn’t ideal. The struggle to keep my green babies alive became exhausting. Some plants dried out, some got infested, and others just didn’t survive. It hurt seeing them wither, knowing I couldn’t give them the environment they deserved.

💔 The Letting Go

So in this vlog, I show you how I finally let go.

Yes, I’m de-planting my life.

I’ve started disposing of my ceramic vases and decorative pots—some of which I’m selling to recover even a small return on investment. Others I’ll give away. It’s not about the money, though. It’s about closure and making peace with the decision.

Because despite everything, I don’t regret a thing.

Those plantito days gave me peace during the darkest moments of the pandemic. They taught me patience, nurturance, and the beauty of slow living. And for that, I’m grateful.

🛑 This Is Not the End

I may be saying goodbye for now, but not forever. Who knows? One day, I might start again with low-maintenance or small-space-friendly greens. Maybe even herbs I can use for cooking! 🌿

If you're a fellow #Plantito or #Plantita, have you ever felt the need to pause or reset? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Let’s talk in the comments.

✨RAMEN, HULA, AND BRITNEY FANS IN MALATE: A Random Night Turned Mystical✨

What was supposed to be just a chill night out with friends turned into something surprisingly spiritual-ish. My Britney Army friends and I decided to head to Malate for some ramen cravings, and of course, we ended up at the ever-reliable Erra’s Ramen House—cheap, tasty, and perfect for late-night catch-ups. 🍜💬

But here’s where the night got... interesting. As we were slurping our bowls, a random palm reader—or should I say aura reader—approached us and offered to read our fortunes. One by one, habang may sabaw pa sa bibig, we had our palms read.

At first, it was just funny. We were giggling, making jokes, and poking fun at each other’s "fate." But then, some of the things he said started hitting a little too close to home. 😳 Personal stuff. Past events. And yes, even some truths that we didn’t expect him to pick up on. Coincidence? Intuition? Hula-hula magic?

When we got back to my condo, we couldn't stop talking about it. Half of us were spooked, half were amused. Was it legit? Or was it just a clever hustle? Either way, it made our ramen night unforgettable.

Lesson of the night: You can’t always tell where a good bowl of ramen (and some Britney vibes) will lead you. 🔮💅

Would we do it again? Maybe. But next time, we’re paying closer attention to who’s reading our aura… and our reactions. 😅

The Truth No One Tells You About Dying

This might be one of the hardest things I’ve ever written. But it needs to be said.

When you die, your body won’t matter. Not to you. Not anymore.

Others will handle it. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. I’ve been part of that process.

They’ll carry you out of the place you once called home.
They’ll undress you.
Wash you.
Wrap you in clothes you didn’t choose.
Apply makeup to make death look less like what it really is.

People will show up.
Some will cancel meetings, take time off work, drive long distances—just to stand near your absence.
They’ll say things that sound kind. They’ll mean some of them.

And then the quiet sorting begins.

The things you once guarded closely—your keys, your favorite jacket, your books, the things you never let anyone borrow—they’ll be packed up.
Donated.
Sold.
Thrown away.

Your job? Replaced.
Maybe by someone better. Maybe not.
Either way, the emails will keep coming. Deadlines won’t mourn you.

Your home will change hands.
Your name will come up in conversations—at first with pain, then curiosity, then not at all.
People will judge you. Argue about what you did or didn’t do. Some will misremember. Others will forget you entirely.

Even your pets—the ones who waited at the door every day—will eventually follow someone else around.

Photos of you will survive for a while. On walls, then shelves, then in a box nobody opens.
And slowly, without anyone noticing the exact moment, you’ll become a memory. Then a shadow.
Then nothing at all.

Life moves on. It has to.

Someone new will sit in your chair.
Sleep in your bed.
Use your dishes.
Laugh in your house.

Grief will stay for a while. Maybe a year. Maybe longer. But even that will fade.

And your story—the one you thought was everything—will quietly close its last chapter.
Here, at least.

And all the things you thought made you... you—
Your career.
Your bank balance.
Your car.
Your titles.
Your ambitions.
Your regrets.
Even your name—
They’ll all lose their weight.

What’s left? Maybe just the echo of how you made others feel.
And maybe not even that.

So while you're here...
Maybe pause for a second.

Not everything needs to be earned, proved, owned, or won.
Because eventually, all of it—all of it—disappears.

And the silence that follows will be louder than you ever imagined.

Bored with Reading? That Doesn’t Make You Any Less Smart.

Let’s talk about it — because not everyone who yawns at books is lazy or unintelligent.

Have you ever sat down with a book, tried to concentrate, and found yourself zoning out after just a few pages? Maybe you’ve even questioned yourself, thinking, “Why do I get bored so easily? Am I just not smart enough for this?”

Let me stop you right there — getting bored with reading does not mean you’re not smart.

There are many reasons why people lose interest in books, and none of them have anything to do with your intelligence.

For one, you might not be reading the right kind of book. Maybe the topic doesn’t spark your curiosity. Maybe the writing style is too slow, too complex, or just not your vibe. Not all books are for everyone, and forcing yourself to finish something you’re not enjoying can suck the fun out of reading entirely.

Another big reason? Mental fatigue and distractions. In our fast-paced, always-online world, it’s hard to switch off and settle into the slower rhythm of reading. If you’ve had a long day, or your brain is constantly bombarded with notifications, sitting still with a book can feel like a chore instead of a break.

Plus, if you’re used to content like TikTok, Instagram reels, or YouTube — where everything is fast, flashy, and instant — books can seem too slow to compete. That doesn’t mean your attention span is broken. It just means your brain is adapting to what it’s constantly exposed to.

And let’s not forget: not everyone relaxes or learns the same way. Some people unwind with books. Others find inspiration in podcasts, documentaries, conversations, or hands-on activities. That’s okay. Being smart isn’t about how much you read. It’s about how you think, how you solve problems, and how you grow from your experiences.

So if you’re struggling to enjoy reading, don’t beat yourself up.

Try different genres. Explore audiobooks. Watch thought-provoking content. Talk to people who inspire you.

There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to learning or relaxing.

Smart isn’t about being a bookworm.

Smart is about being curious — in your own way.

UNPLANNED EXPENSES! I BOUGHT A SMART TV & REF | Micro-Living in the Philippines

Adulting is full of unexpected decisions—some practical, some impulsive, and some that make you question, "Did I really need this?" That’s exactly what happened on my recent trip to the appliance store!

 😱 🎥 WATCH THE VLOG:

The Plan: Buy a Personal Refrigerator for Micro-Living

Living solo in a micro-living setup means maximizing space and choosing appliances wisely. I initially planned to buy a compact personal refrigerator—just the right size for my small condo unit. After all, having a fridge is essential for storing fresh food, reducing food waste, and saving money on takeout.

But little did I know… the universe (and a tempting sale) had other plans for me!

The Reality: Walking Out with a Smart TV Too! 🤯

While browsing for a fridge, I casually wandered into the electronics section, and there it was—a sleek Smart TV on sale! At that moment, I had an internal debate:

  • ✅ Pro: A Smart TV would be perfect for unwinding after long workdays. No more watching Netflix on my laptop!
  • ❌ Con: It wasn’t in my budget plan, and I didn’t need it immediately.
  • ✅ Pro: It was on sale. A deal like this doesn’t come often!
  • ❌ Con: Do I really have space for it?
Long story short—I caved. 🤦‍♂️ I walked out with both a fridge and a Smart TV. Now, the question is: Was this a smart decision or an impulsive splurge?

Budgeting & Smart Spending for Yuppies in the City

If you’re living alone and trying to balance adulting, budgeting, and small-space living, here are some lessons from my unexpected purchase:

1. Wants vs. Needs – Be Honest With Yourself
Before buying, ask yourself:
  • 🔹 Do I need this now, or can it wait?
  • 🔹 Will it add value to my daily life?
  • 🔹 Is it within my budget, or will I struggle financially?
2. Always Set a Spending Limit (and Stick to It!)
I went to the store without a firm budget in mind, which led to an impulse buy. Lesson learned: Set a limit before shopping.

3. Take Advantage of Sales—But Only for Essentials
The Smart TV was on sale, but a discount isn’t a good deal if you weren’t planning to buy it in the first place. Be mindful of “SALE” traps!

4. Space Matters in Micro-Living
Living in a small condo means every inch counts. Before buying appliances, measure your space and make sure everything fits without making your home feel cramped.

5. Think Long-Term Value
Despite being an unplanned expense, I justified my purchases because:
  • ✔ The fridge is an essential investment.
  • ✔ The Smart TV is for entertainment and relaxation, which is also important for mental health.
  • ✔ Both appliances increase the value of my living space.

Adulting is tough. No one handed us a manual on how to navigate life, relationships, and career growth while maintaining our mental and emotional well-being. But every experience—whether big or small—teaches us something valuable.

Yesterday, I had the chance to reunite with my college friend after eight years! We met at The Podium Ortigas, shared cocktails, pasta, coffee, and fries at Griffoni’s Italian Restaurant, and had some of the most meaningful conversations about life, career growth, and skillsets.

One of the biggest takeaways from our catch-up? The importance of saying no.

In a world that constantly demands our time and energy, learning to say no is not just about rejection—it’s a life skill. It helps set boundaries, protects our worth, and allows us to focus on what truly matters. And that’s something I wish I had learned earlier in life.

Why Saying No is a Skill You Need to Master

Yes, "saying no" is a skill, and like any other skill, it requires practice and confidence. Here’s why mastering this can significantly impact your personal and professional growth:

1. Self-Respect and Confidence Building

Saying no when necessary demonstrates that you value your time, energy, and priorities. It’s an act of self-respect. The more you say no to things that don’t align with your values, the more confident you become in making decisions that benefit your well-being.

2. Boundary Setting: Protecting Your Time and Energy

Not everything deserves your time and attention. By saying no, you establish clear boundaries that prevent overcommitment and burnout. You can’t pour from an empty cup, so protect your energy by prioritizing what truly matters.

3. Assertiveness: Expressing Yourself Clearly and Respectfully

Mastering the art of saying no involves assertive communication. It’s about expressing your needs without being aggressive or overly passive. The key is to be firm yet kind, showing respect for both yourself and the other person.

4. Saying No is Not Just a Word—It’s an Intentional Decision

Many people struggle with saying no because they fear disappointing others. But declining a request doesn’t mean being rude. It’s about making thoughtful decisions that align with your priorities. If needed, offer an alternative solution or a polite explanation without feeling guilty.

How to Say No Without Feeling Guilty

If saying no makes you feel uncomfortable, here are some ways to practice it effectively:

  • ✔ Use polite but firm language: "I really appreciate the offer, but I won’t be able to commit to this right now."
  • ✔ Be honest yet concise: "I’m currently prioritizing my personal projects, so I won’t be able to join."
  • ✔ Offer an alternative if possible: "I can’t help this time, but maybe next time!"
  • ✔ Trust your instincts: If something doesn’t feel right, it’s okay to decline without over-explaining.
  • ✔ Remember that no is a complete sentence: You don’t always need a long explanation to justify your decision.
🎥 WATCH THE VLOG:

Why This Matters in Adulting 101

As we grow older, we realize that time is our most valuable resource. Saying yes to everything can leave us exhausted and unfulfilled. Learning when and how to say no allows us to invest in the things that truly matter—our passions, health, relationships, and personal growth.

Saying no isn’t just about rejecting requests; it’s about embracing a life that aligns with your values and priorities.

So, have you struggled with saying no? Let’s talk about it in the comments! And if you want to hear more personal stories and insights, check out my latest vlog on this topic.

Hey guys, today’s vlog is a mix of drama and food—because life loves to keep things interesting! 😱

Recently, I became a victim of identity theft—someone used my full name to spread negative statements about President Duterte. While I know I had nothing to do with it, the most disappointing part was that my own relatives, the ORBUDA clan, believed the troll! Without even verifying the truth, they started hating me over something I never said. It’s crazy how fake news can ruin relationships, even within families.

But let’s take a break from all that negativity and enjoy something comforting—boiled saba banana with ginamos (fermented anchovies)! 🍌🥣 This classic Boholano merienda brings back so many nostalgic memories of simple provincial life, and I’m excited to share it with you.

P.S. Major vlog fail! 😅 I just realized too late that this video has no audio when I rendered it. But hey, life goes on—hope you still enjoy watching!

Jollibee never fails to bring us heartwarming and emotional stories, and this time, I found myself deeply moved by "Kwentong Jollibee – Kahera." 🍔 This powerful commercial follows the journey of a young cashier-in-training who faces harsh criticism from a tough customer. At first, it seemed like just another bad day for her—but what happened next completely changed everything. 🥺

As I watched, I couldn’t help but relate to her struggles. Just like the Kahera, I’ve had my fair share of challenges, doubts, and moments when I felt like giving up. But just like her, I pushed forward. That’s why this ad hit me on a personal level, and I couldn’t wait to share my own story in this vlog.

Imagine being alone in your condo, about to sleep, when suddenly… someone knocks on your door at 1AM. 😨 My heart raced, and I felt pure fear because I wasn't expecting anyone at that hour.

I hesitated to answer, but curiosity got the best of me. When I asked who it was, a man responded, claiming he was there to pick up an item he bought. The problem? I never sold anything. ❌ Who picks up stuff at 1AM, anyway? My mind was filled with questions: Was my unit number given by mistake? Or worse… was this something illegal?

At that moment, I realized how scary it is when a stranger knocks on your door in the middle of the night. Was it a simple case of misidentification, or was there something more sinister behind it?

I decided to share my full experience in this vlog because it’s something everyone should be aware of—especially those living alone. Watch the video below and let me know in the comments: What would you have done in my situation?

Canceled Plans: A Weekend Ruined by Sickness

February 24 and 25, 2018, were meant to be packed with events, yet I found myself stuck in bed, feeling weak and unable to do anything. It’s frustrating when you have everything scheduled, only to be forced to cancel because of unexpected sickness. Instead of going out and making memories, I was wrapped in a blanket, battling body aches and fatigue.

As much as I wanted to push through and go about my planned activities, my body simply wouldn’t cooperate. Sometimes, no matter how much we resist, we have to listen to what our body needs—rest and recovery. It’s a reminder that health always comes first, and missing out on plans is okay if it means taking care of yourself. Though I spent the weekend in bed instead of outside having fun, I took this as an opportunity to slow down, recharge, and remind myself that it’s okay to pause when needed.

Weekends are my reset button, and this one was no different—full of small adventures and impulsive moments! It started with a mundane task: doing my laundry at the shop near my condo. As the machines hummed in the background, I found myself enjoying the little routine of folding clothes and catching up on my favorite playlist.

Later, I decided to finally fix my old watch that had been lying idle for months. I visited a repair store nearby and had the battery replaced. It felt satisfying to see it ticking again, almost as if it was brought back to life. On my way out, something shiny caught my eye—a stainless steel ring that looked too stunning to ignore. Without much thought, I bought it. Sure, it turned out to be fake, but who cares? It’s beautiful, and it sparkles like a real gem.

Sometimes, the small, unexpected moments of the weekend—like fixing an old watch or falling for a fake ring—add a touch of charm to everyday life.
