6 Things I Am Choosing to Cut Off This Year 2026 .

The year 2026 feels different for me.

Not louder. Not rushed.

But clearer.

This year is not about forcing change. It’s about intentional release.

Spiritually, I’ve learned that growth doesn’t always come from adding more—it often comes from cutting away what no longer aligns.

Here are the six things I am consciously cutting off in 2026, not from anger, but from awareness.

1. Toxic People

I no longer entertain connections that drain my energy, dismiss my truth, or thrive on chaos.

Cutting off toxic people doesn’t mean I hate them.

It means I finally love myself enough to choose peace.

Spiritually, energy exchange is sacred.

If the exchange is always heavy, confusing, or painful, it’s not love—it’s a lesson that has already been learned.

2. Time Wasters

Time is not just time—it is life force.

In 2026, I am cutting off habits, distractions, and routines that keep me busy but unfulfilled.

Mindless scrolling. Delayed dreams. Constant procrastination disguised as “rest.”

Spiritually, wasting time is disconnecting from purpose.

I now ask myself: Does this nourish my soul or numb it?

3. Bad Habits

Some habits are not flaws—they are coping mechanisms formed during survival mode.

This year, I release habits that keep me stuck in old versions of myself:

Self-sabotage

• Escaping emotions instead of feeling them
• Repeating cycles I already understand
• Healing is not about perfection.

It’s about choosing better, one conscious decision at a time.

4. Comfort Zone

The comfort zone is not always safe—it is often familiar pain.

In 2026, I choose growth over convenience.

I choose discomfort that leads to expansion rather than comfort that leads to stagnation.

Spiritually, the soul expands through movement.

What scares me might be exactly where my next breakthrough lives.

5. Excuses

I am done explaining why I cannot show up for my own life.

Excuses often sound reasonable, but spiritually they are fear wearing logic.

This year, I replace excuses with responsibility.

Not pressure—ownership.

I may move slowly, but I will move honestly.

6. Fear and Ego

Fear keeps me small.Ego keeps me defensive.

In 2026, I release the need to prove, protect, or perform. I allow myself to be seen without armor.

Spiritually, fear dissolves when trust is practiced.

And ego softens when humility enters the room.

Closing Reflection

Cutting off is not about rejection—it is about alignment.

This year, I am choosing:

1. Peace over people-pleasing
2. Clarity over chaos
3. Growth over comfort

And most importantly, I am choosing myself—not the old self built from wounds, but the truer self emerging from healing.

2026 is not my “perfect year.”

It is my honest one.

🌱 Beginner-Friendly Bonsai: How to Care for Cuphea Hyssopifolia (Mexican Heather) Indoors

Welcome back, plant lovers! In today’s episode of my #Plantito journey, I’m excited to introduce you to my newest indoor bonsai baby—the Cuphea Hyssopifolia, more commonly known as Mexican Heather. This beauty came all the way from Bicol, and it’s already making my tiny home garden feel extra magical. ✨

If you're a beginner, or even a seasoned #Plantita/#Plantito, this plant is the perfect bonsai starter. With its dainty purple (sometimes lavender or white) flowers and compact evergreen foliage, it fits beautifully into micro-living spaces, condo balconies, or sunny windowsills.

  🎥 WATCH THE VLOG:

🌞 Sunlight

Needs Cuphea Hyssopifolia thrives in bright, indirect light but can also handle a few hours of direct morning sun. Avoid placing it under intense afternoon rays as it may scorch the delicate leaves.

💧 Watering Tips

This plant loves consistent moisture, but don’t overdo it! Water only when the top inch of the soil feels dry. Pro tip: use a spray bottle for light misting if your space is dry or air-conditioned.

🌿 Soil & Potting Mix

Use well-draining soil—a mix of loam, sand, and compost works great. A bonsai pot with drainage holes is ideal to prevent root rot. Re-potting every 1–2 years will help refresh the soil and promote healthy growth.

✂️ Maintenance

Prune lightly to maintain its shape and encourage more blooms. Remove any dry or yellowing leaves, and always sterilize your tools before trimming.

✨ BONUS: My Personal Tips from Experience

• Place a tray of water nearby to maintain humidity, especially in air-conditioned rooms.
• Talk to your plant! (I swear, mine responds better after a little morning pep talk. 😂)
• Rotate the pot every few days so the plant grows evenly toward the light.

Cuphea Hyssopifolia, also known as false heather, elfin herb, or Hawaiian heather, is not just beautiful—it's also easy to care for, making it a wonderful companion for your indoor jungle or even as a gift idea for fellow plant parents.

💡 TIP: Low-Cost Video Light for New Vloggers and YouTubers in the Philippines

Are you a new vlogger or aspiring YouTuber trying to step up your video quality without spending too much? You're not alone! When I started my own content creation journey, I used to rely on natural light or—let's be honest—my phone’s built-in flash. 😅 It worked okay at first, but I knew I had to improve my lighting setup to really make my content pop.

After doing a bit of research and testing different options, I finally found a budget-friendly video light that works surprisingly well, especially for beginners in the Philippines. Whether you're filming sit-down vlogs, unboxings, makeup tutorials, or even product reviews, proper lighting makes all the difference—and you don’t need to shell out thousands of pesos to get it right.

🔦 Why Lighting Matters

Good lighting:

• Makes your videos look more professional
• Helps highlight your facial expressions and products
• Reduces grain/noise in low-light shots
• Keeps your viewers more engaged

✅ My Recommendation: Affordable Video Light for Beginners

I personally picked up a USB-powered LED panel light from an online marketplace like Lazada or Shopee for under ₱500. Here’s why it works:

• Adjustable brightness and color temperature
• Compact and portable, perfect for micro-living setups
• Can be mounted on tripods, ring light stands, or even clipped onto a desk
• Great for indoor filming, even during nighttime or cloudy days

If you’re on a tight budget, you can also repurpose clip-on desk lamps with daylight bulbs as a DIY alternative!

💡 Pro Tip: Maximize What You Have

If you can’t invest in multiple lights just yet:

• Use reflective surfaces (like white foam boards or walls) to bounce light
• Position your light source in front of you (not behind) to avoid harsh shadows
• Film during daytime and use natural light by a window whenever possible

Starting your vlogging journey doesn’t have to cost a lot. With just a small investment in lighting, you can instantly elevate your video quality and make your content stand out. Remember, you don’t need the most expensive gear to be a great creator—you just need the right tools, smart tips, and a lot of passion.

⚱️ STYLISH BUT AFFORDABLE! Where to Buy Budget-Friendly Display Pots & Vases | Japan Home Center Haul

If you’re a proud #PlantTito (or Plantita!) looking to add more personality to your plant collection without burning a hole in your wallet, then this is the blog post you’ve been waiting for. In this episode of my #PlanTitoVlog, I took a quick trip to Japan Home Center—one of my favorite go-to stores for affordable home essentials—and I was thrilled to discover a new batch of budget-friendly display pots and vases that are both functional and stylish!

  🎥 WATCH THE VLOG:

🌿 Why Japan Home Center?

Japan Home Center has long been known for its practical, minimalist, and surprisingly chic home finds. From cleaning tools to storage hacks, the store is a goldmine for anyone living in micro spaces like condos, tiny apartments, or urban homes here in the Philippines. But what caught my eye on this trip was their growing selection of decorative pots and vases that are perfect for indoor plant lovers and DIY home decorators.

🛍️ My Top Budget-Friendly Finds

Here’s a peek at my top picks from this haul:

1. Ceramic Mini Vases (₱88–₱188)

Perfect for coffee tables, shelves, or window sills—these muted-tone ceramic vases add a soft touch to any corner of your home. I paired mine with dried eucalyptus stems for a clean, Scandinavian vibe.

2. Textured Clay Pots (₱108–₱198)

Great for succulents or snake plants, these clay pots come in matte finishes and geometric textures that look far more expensive than they are. Perfect for minimalist and boho-themed homes.

3. Plastic Pots with Built-in Saucers (₱48–₱98)

Don’t underestimate plastic! These lightweight options are ideal for hanging plants or balcony gardening. They’re also easier to clean and maintain—especially for beginners.

4. Decorative Glass Vases (₱128–₱228)

I couldn’t leave without picking up a few clear glass vases, which I use for propagation. They're great for showcasing plant roots or using as centerpieces for cut flowers.

💡 Decorating Tips for Small Spaces

Living in a small space doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style.

Here are a few PlanTito-approved tips:

• Mix heights and textures: Combine ceramic, glass, and clay to add dimension.
• Use vertical space: Hanging pots or wall-mounted shelves can help maximize limited floor area.
• Keep it coordinated: Pick a neutral or earthy color palette for a cohesive look.
• Add personality: Customize with pebbles, wood trays, or macrame pot holders

📍Where to Shop

Most Japan Home Center branches carry these display pots and vases, but inventory varies—so make sure to check out different branches or visit their pop-up stalls in major malls. Prices range from ₱48 to ₱228, making it one of the most affordable places for home décor and indoor gardening needs.

🐶 My Life as a FurDaddy – Dealing with American Bully Skin Problems 😢

Being a FurDaddy is one of the greatest joys of my life, but it also comes with heart-wrenching challenges — and today, I’m sharing one of the toughest experiences I've faced with my beloved American Bully, Escobar.

In this very personal blog post (and vlog linked below), I’ll talk about Escobar’s battle with Atopic Dermatitis, a common but serious skin condition in short-coated breeds like American Bullies. If you’re a pet parent, especially to a Bully breed, this story might just save your furbaby's life too. 🐾

 💔 🎥 WATCH THE VLOG:

Escobar’s Skin Problem: Our Painful Journey

It all started when I noticed Escobar constantly scratching himself — to the point where his skin became red, irritated, and flaky. 😣 At first, I thought it was just regular itching, but it got worse over time. Seeing my furbaby suffer was absolutely heartbreaking.

We immediately sought help from a trusted veterinarian, and after several consultations, Escobar was diagnosed with Atopic Dermatitis. This condition is sadly very common among American Bullies, French Bulldogs, Pitbulls, and other short-haired breeds. The vet explained that environmental allergens, food, and even grooming products could trigger it.

How We Managed Atopic Dermatitis

Managing Escobar’s condition wasn’t easy, but giving up was never an option. Here's what helped us:

• Veterinary Consultation: Always the first step! Never self-medicate your dog.
• Prescribed Medications: Anti-inflammatory medicines and medicated shampoos.
• Diet Adjustment: Avoiding possible food allergens.
• Controlled Environment: Limiting his exposure to dirt, dust, and allergens.
• Love and Patience: Lots of it. 💖

It took time, consistent treatment, and adjustments to our daily routine, but slowly, Escobar’s skin started improving.

A Personal Update: 4 Years Later

After four years of being a dedicated FurDaddy, I made an important discovery about Escobar’s allergies. 🚨

Initially, I tried natural remedies like Madre de Cacao soap and coconut oil, but surprisingly, these caused more irritation for him. 😔

Through a lot of trial and error, I found the perfect solution:

Bearing Dog Shampoo! 🛁

• Bearing Shampoo is specially formulated for dogs.
• It kills fleas and ticks.
• It has a long-lasting, fresh scent.
• It acts as a preventive against parasites.

I now bathe Escobar once a week using Bearing Shampoo, and I make sure he doesn't roam outside randomly. Since then, his skin has been healthy — no wounds, no redness, and no flare-ups! 🙌

Tips for American Bully Owners Dealing with Skin Problems

If you’re a fellow pawrent to an American Bully or a similar breed, here are some important reminders:

• Consult a Veterinarian first for proper diagnosis.
• Be cautious with home remedies — what works for others may not work for your dog.
• Use trusted grooming products like Bearing Dog Shampoo.
• Maintain a consistent bathing schedule (not too frequent to avoid drying the skin).
• Keep their environment clean and allergen-free.
• Monitor their diet for any food triggers.
• Love and patience are your best medicines. ?❤️

What is Ukay-Ukay? 🤔

So, for those of you who are not familiar, ukay-ukay is the term for thrift shops in the Philippines. The word ukay literally means "to dig," and that’s exactly what you’re doing when you’re hunting for treasures in these secondhand stores. It’s like digging through a pile of amazing fashion finds, with items imported from North America and Europe.

The beauty of ukay-ukay is that you can score branded clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories—most of them in great condition—all at incredibly affordable prices. It’s no wonder Baguio has earned its title as the “Wagwagan Capital of the Philippines” (Wagwagan = where people sell secondhand goods). 😎

Where to Buy Affordable Ukay-Ukay? 🛍️

Shopping Tips:

1. Arrive early: The best pieces tend to get snapped up quickly, especially if you're eyeing branded items.
2. Haggle: Don’t be afraid to bargain! It’s all part of the fun at the night market.
3. Check for quality: Even though everything’s affordable, always inspect the clothes for wear and tear—sometimes the best items are hidden in piles!

The Power of Saying No: A Reflection on Boundaries & Self-Worth

(From left to right) Me,  John Daniel Castillo, Lauren Balanay & Jean at Griffon's Italian Restaurant.

Adulting is tough. No one handed us a manual on how to navigate life, relationships, and career growth while maintaining our mental and emotional well-being. But every experience—whether big or small—teaches us something valuable.

Yesterday, I had the chance to reunite with my college friend after eight years! We met at The Podium Ortigas, shared cocktails, pasta, coffee, and fries at Griffoni’s Italian Restaurant, and had some of the most meaningful conversations about life, career growth, and skillsets.

One of the biggest takeaways from our catch-up? The importance of saying no.

In a world that constantly demands our time and energy, learning to say no is not just about rejection—it’s a life skill. It helps set boundaries, protects our worth, and allows us to focus on what truly matters. And that’s something I wish I had learned earlier in life.

Why Saying No is a Skill You Need to Master

Yes, "saying no" is a skill, and like any other skill, it requires practice and confidence. Here’s why mastering this can significantly impact your personal and professional growth:

1. Self-Respect and Confidence Building

Saying no when necessary demonstrates that you value your time, energy, and priorities. It’s an act of self-respect. The more you say no to things that don’t align with your values, the more confident you become in making decisions that benefit your well-being.

2. Boundary Setting: Protecting Your Time and Energy

Not everything deserves your time and attention. By saying no, you establish clear boundaries that prevent overcommitment and burnout. You can’t pour from an empty cup, so protect your energy by prioritizing what truly matters.

3. Assertiveness: Expressing Yourself Clearly and Respectfully

Mastering the art of saying no involves assertive communication. It’s about expressing your needs without being aggressive or overly passive. The key is to be firm yet kind, showing respect for both yourself and the other person.

4. Saying No is Not Just a Word—It’s an Intentional Decision

Many people struggle with saying no because they fear disappointing others. But declining a request doesn’t mean being rude. It’s about making thoughtful decisions that align with your priorities. If needed, offer an alternative solution or a polite explanation without feeling guilty.

How to Say No Without Feeling Guilty

If saying no makes you feel uncomfortable, here are some ways to practice it effectively:

• ✔ Use polite but firm language: "I really appreciate the offer, but I won’t be able to commit to this right now."
• ✔ Be honest yet concise: "I’m currently prioritizing my personal projects, so I won’t be able to join."
• ✔ Offer an alternative if possible: "I can’t help this time, but maybe next time!"
• ✔ Trust your instincts: If something doesn’t feel right, it’s okay to decline without over-explaining.
• ✔ Remember that no is a complete sentence: You don’t always need a long explanation to justify your decision.

Why This Matters in Adulting 101

As we grow older, we realize that time is our most valuable resource. Saying yes to everything can leave us exhausted and unfulfilled. Learning when and how to say no allows us to invest in the things that truly matter—our passions, health, relationships, and personal growth.

Saying no isn’t just about rejecting requests; it’s about embracing a life that aligns with your values and priorities.

So, have you struggled with saying no? Let’s talk about it in the comments! And if you want to hear more personal stories and insights, check out my latest vlog on this topic.

🌴 Catching Up Vlog: Indoor Plant Hack with MSG and a Delicious Air-Fried Pork Dish! 🪴🍖

Welcome to another episode of my Catching Up Vlog, where we dive into exciting tips and share tasty kitchen discoveries! In this episode, we’re tackling two intriguing topics: a unique gardening hack using MSG (or vetsin) to help your indoor plants thrive, and a mouthwatering ready-to-cook pork dish perfect for air frying.

MSG for Indoor Plants: Does It Work?

You may know MSG as a popular seasoning for enhancing the flavor of your favorite dishes, but did you know it can also work wonders for your plants? MSG contains sodium and glutamate, which can promote healthy plant growth when used correctly. Here's how it works:

• Nutrient Boost: The sodium in MSG can enhance water retention in the soil, while the glutamate can act as a nitrogen source, which is essential for plant growth.
• Improved Absorption: When diluted properly, MSG helps plants absorb nutrients more efficiently.

Tips for Using MSG on Indoor Plants:

1. Dilution is Key: Mix a pinch of MSG in 1 liter of water to avoid overfeeding your plants.
2. Use Sparingly: Apply the mixture once every 2-3 weeks to prevent salt buildup in the soil.
3. Test First: Always try the solution on a small area or one plant before applying it to your entire collection.

Curious to see if this method works? Watch the vlog to find out my results and tips for making the most of this unconventional gardening hack!

A Ready-to-Cook Pork Dish for Air Frying

Shifting gears to the kitchen, I’m thrilled to share my latest culinary find—a ready-to-cook pork dish that’s ideal for air frying! I ordered this from my officemate, who turned to small business ventures during the pandemic. Supporting small businesses has never tasted so good!

This pork dish is pre-marinated and perfectly seasoned, making it a quick and hassle-free option for busy days. The air fryer gives it a crispy exterior while keeping the inside juicy and flavorful. Pair it with steamed rice or fresh salad for a satisfying meal.

Why Air Fryers Are Perfect for Ready-to-Cook Meals:

• Healthier Cooking: Get that crispy texture without deep frying in oil.
• Time-Saving: No need for extensive prep; just pop it in the air fryer and let it cook!
• Mess-Free: Less cleanup compared to traditional frying methods.

📱 Is It Worth It? Giving My Samsung S8 Plus a New Life with a Screen Replacement.

Smartphones are more than just gadgets—they're our lifelines. From work emails to scrolling through social media and capturing life's best moments, we rely on them for almost everything. That's why I couldn't let go of my trusted Samsung S8 Plus, even after four years of loyal service and a broken screen. Yes, I know, four years is a lifetime in tech years, but this phone has been my go-to companion through thick and thin. Instead of splurging on a brand-new phone, I decided to invest PHP 12,200 to give it a new lease on life by replacing its cracked screen. Was it worth it? Let me walk you through my experience and why I believe it’s a smart choice for tech enthusiasts like me.

  🎥 WATCH THE VLOG:

Why I Decided to Repair Instead of Replace.

Let's face it—buying a brand-new flagship phone these days costs an arm and a leg. While the latest models are tempting, the cost can often be impractical, especially when my Samsung S8 Plus is still running smoothly. From the excellent camera quality to reliable performance, this device has aged gracefully. The only issue was the shattered screen, which made it difficult (and occasionally frustrating) to use. Instead of shelling out PHP 50,000 or more for a new smartphone, I opted for a screen replacement that cost only PHP 12,200. It was a decision rooted in sustainability, practicality, and a touch of sentimentality.

The Repair Process: Quick and Hassle-Free

Getting the screen replaced was easier than I anticipated. After researching several authorized service centers, I chose a reliable one known for handling Samsung devices. The repair process took less than a day, and when I finally got my S8 Plus back, it felt like I was holding a brand-new phone. The new screen was flawless—no glitches, no discoloration, and it was perfectly responsive. For anyone worried about third-party repairs, I recommend sticking to authorized centers to ensure quality parts and proper installation.

Why It’s a Smart Choice for Techies

For those of us who love tech, it’s easy to get caught up in the allure of the latest gadgets. But let’s not forget that older devices like the Samsung S8 Plus are still capable of handling most of today’s apps and tasks. By opting for a repair, not only are you saving money, but you’re also contributing to reducing electronic waste. Plus, the S8 Plus, with its sleek design and AMOLED display, still holds its ground against many mid-range phones released today. Investing in repairs instead of replacements is a practical way to extend the life of your gadgets while staying budget-friendly.

Performance After Repair: As Good as New

After the screen replacement, my Samsung S8 Plus is back to delivering top-notch performance. From watching videos in high resolution to running multiple apps without lag, it’s performing like a champ. The battery life is still decent, and I’ve always loved its wireless charging feature. In short, the repair didn’t just fix the cosmetic issue—it renewed my appreciation for this incredible device. It’s a reminder that old doesn’t mean obsolete, especially in the world of tech.

Final Thoughts: Repairing Is Caring (for Your Wallet and the Planet)

If you’re a tech enthusiast like me, you probably have a soft spot for your gadgets. Giving my Samsung S8 Plus a second chance proved to be a rewarding decision—one that saved me money and kept my trusted device in my hands a little longer. Whether you’re dealing with a broken screen or other minor issues, consider repair as an option before rushing to upgrade. It’s budget-friendly, environmentally conscious, and a great way to continue enjoying the devices you love. So, if you’ve been wondering whether it’s worth it to repair an older smartphone—take it from me: it absolutely is!

7 in 1 phone holder docking station

In today’s tech-driven world, we’re always on the lookout for ways to enhance productivity and make the most of the devices we already own. I’ve always been fascinated by mobile computing, and recently, I stumbled upon a product that has completely changed how I use my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. Enter the Baseus Dex Dock—a 7-in-1 USB-C Hub and phone holder docking station designed to transform your smartphone into a full-fledged desktop workstation. After using it for over three months, I’m here to share my honest review and whether it lives up to the hype.

Combination of a docking station and a phone holder

Unboxing and Features

The Baseus Dex Dock is sleek and compact, built with high-quality ABS and aluminum alloy materials. When I first unboxed the device, I was impressed by its sturdy build and premium finish. It connects to your Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus (and a wide range of other Samsung and Huawei devices) via the USB-C port and supports Samsung’s DeX functionality, allowing you to use your phone as a desktop computer. The dock features several ports that enhance the user experience: three USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port for connecting to external displays, a 3.5mm audio jack, an SD/Micro SD card reader, and a Type-C power jack for uninterrupted power.

What really caught my attention was the 4K video output feature. Using the HDMI port, I connected the dock to my TV and was able to project content from my phone at 4K resolution, which made for a truly immersive viewing experience. Whether I was watching movies or working on presentations, this dock gave me the flexibility to enjoy my phone's functionality on a larger screen.

Three USB port- more possibilities It adds three usb ports to your phone, so you could easily connect many devices to it at the same time, like a computer

Productivity and Performance

One of the most significant selling points of the Baseus Dex Dock is how it turns your smartphone into a desktop. With the dock connected, I was able to use my phone just like a traditional computer. The ability to connect a keyboard and mouse was a game-changer. It was much easier to type documents, browse the web, and manage files using a full-sized keyboard and mouse rather than relying on my phone’s touchscreen. The split-screen operation in DeX mode allowed me to multitask seamlessly, working on emails while referencing documents side-by-side. This setup is perfect for remote work, especially for those who need to stay productive while on the go or don’t have access to a traditional laptop.

Connection with keyboard and mouse As an efficient office helper, connected to a mouse and keyboard, your phone can be used as a computer and you can edit documents faster

The dock also features gamepad connection support, which was a fun bonus. As a gamer, I connected my Bluetooth gamepad, and the responsiveness was impressive, offering a smooth and immersive gaming experience. The Type-C power jack ensures that the device stays charged, so you never have to worry about your phone running out of juice during those extended work or play sessions.

Gamepad connection A fantastic gaming experience for you, more agile gamepad operations

Versatility and Connectivity

The Baseus Dex Dock is not just for work—it’s also a fantastic tool for entertainment. The TV mode feature allowed me to enjoy content from my phone on a larger screen, and the dock’s fast card reading capability was a lifesaver for transferring photos and videos directly from my SD card. The device also supports multiple modes: Computer mode (split screen) and TV mode (synchronous display), which means I can switch from productivity to entertainment without missing a beat.

Love your job but don’t love your company, because you may not know when your company stops loving you

.

There’s an old quote by Abdul Kalam that has always stuck with me: “Love your job but don’t love your company, because you may not know when your company stops loving you.” As an adult juggling the pressures of career, responsibilities, and personal growth, I often reflect on this. At first, it seemed like a bitter truth. The harsh reality of corporate life hits differently when you're climbing that endless ladder, and suddenly, everything stops making sense. But as the years pass, and I’ve come to face the ever-changing tides of this pandemic, I realize how true his words are in certain aspects. The key, however, lies not in the company, but in how much you genuinely love what you do.

I’ve come to understand that when you love your job, it loves you back. Maybe not in the same way you expect, but in subtle ways that matter: the colleagues who genuinely appreciate your work, the clients who trust your skills, the sense of accomplishment after a well-executed project. In the end, the company may not always return the love, but the people around you certainly will. In a corporate ecosystem, it’s all about mutualism. You give something of value, and the world gives it back. We all want to feel that sense of worth and contribution, especially when we're putting in the effort day after day.

The pandemic, in its chaotic nature, acted as a reset button for me. Being forced to work from home brought moments of reflection, forcing me to reassess my relationship with work, success, and gratitude. Initially, I was fearful, uncertain, and overwhelmed. But now, as I sit in the comfort of my home office, I’ve learned to appreciate the stability and opportunities my company has provided during such trying times. Sure, Abdul Kalam’s quote has merit, but I’m thankful that my company managed to weather the storm with us. Through it all, the resources were there to help us keep afloat, even when everything else seemed unstable.

As an employee, I don’t owe “Thank You” in the traditional sense. The best gratitude I can give is to do my job well — with self-discipline, with focus, and with integrity. No matter how big or small the task, that’s my way of showing appreciation. In a world where many things are uncertain, the one thing I can control is my performance and attitude toward work. So here I am, making the most of what I have, executing my tasks to the best of my ability, and silently giving thanks through my dedication. After all, our livelihoods depend on the efforts we put in. And for that, I am truly grateful.
