My Personal #KwentongSSS.(SSS -Sana'y Sumulpot ang Salapi)

Honestly, in a span of my existence doing business with Philippine Government establishment, I haven’t experienced yet an efficient and effective way of assistance when it comes to public service. Specially, we, the public – we already had multiple times na nakaka-pag dealt with ka sa private establishments; we can’t avoid comparing the government versus private – the way they handle transactions.

Pero pag sa BANK ka mag bayad or makipag transaction – you felt being dignified.

Punta tayo sa SM AURA dahil may office dun at dun tayo mag papa ID ng UMID, (yumid, ganyan sya basahin, pag wet ang singit mo, it’s because its yumidity, gets? #YUMID),

“ Sir di ka pa po pwede kasi may discrepancy ang middle name mo , yung DELA mo magkahiwalay dapat DE(space)LA (and send to 23sixsix to vote, charot). “
Advertisement by Google:
“Ah so di ako ito?” tanong ko

“Oo sir, di ikaw yan” – sagot ni SSS

Sa loob loob ko, “so sino ako? Nasan ako? Bakit ako nandito?” , charot,

Ayon pala!

(papuntang kabilang mundo) . Pwedeng mag enroll ng kahit anong bank account para dun daw ipapasok ang pinakamalaki at matigas at madulas na “SALAPI”, when loan application is approved.

July 2, tweny tweny (ganyan magsalita pag caller center agent), may nag text sa akin.

……….

🍰Freshly Baked Banana Cake and Crinkles From Big Tummy MNL.

Let us support small businesses, yeah you heard it right.

In the middle of the COVID 19, pandemic wherein numerous people lost their job; the online selling approach became a trendsetter nowadays. The physical stores quickly became obsolete and virtual transactions became popular. And those people who lost their job took advantage of this technology to earn money despite this recent hindrance.

Recently, as part of supporting micro-businesses, I bought food from this online shop named BigTummyMNL. I ordered 2 boxes of Banana Cake amounting to php175 each and 12 dozen crinkles amounting to PHP 100; delivery fee shouldered by me which is quite affordable depending on how far you’re located.

A slice of Banana Cake perfect for coffee. I actually eat it before my shift at work; I just simply grab a slice of it. Put inside in a microwave to re-heat and boom. Perfect sweet to increase my sugar, and caffeine to increase my dopamine; which leads into a positive and productive night – doing my task as I am working from home at night.

The actual banana cake that I received.

Taste-wise, the cake’s texture is quite “sponge-ish” as opposed to what is my preference “moist cake” (but still it is subjective because I love moist cake) but it tastes good as the aroma of banana cake is dominant. Since I didn’t eat it right away and I stocked it inside my ref for a span of 1 week, to my surprise, those lasted longer and I even just consumed 1 slice every set, re-heating is the key to make it soft.

On the top of the cake, to make it more visually appetizing, they sprinkle chocolates.

When it comes to crinkles, Girl, I like the transparent packaging. It actually captures your attention – what’s inside. It tastes good as well.

As of the time being, I am waiting for my next order…another two banana cake again.

Growing up, like many dreamers, I often fantasized about stepping into the limelight and becoming part of the entertainment industry. The glitz, the glamour, and the thought of performing on national television seemed magical. So, when I heard about auditions for ABS-CBN’s "I Can See Your Voice," I knew I had to give it a shot. It was one of the network's most popular shows, and the idea of even having a second of screen time felt like a monumental achievement. Little did I know, this experience would become more than just an attempt at stardom—it became a lesson in resilience and self-discovery.

The audition process was intense, to say the least. From preparing my story to rehearsing my performance, I poured my heart into every step. However, as the competition unfolded, it became clear that I didn’t quite fit the mold of what the show was looking for. Perhaps I lacked the “star quality” or simply didn’t align with the narrative they wanted to tell. At first, the rejection stung. I questioned whether I was good enough and if I had what it took to succeed in such a competitive space. But as time passed, I realized this was just one path of many—and it wasn’t the end of my story.

When ABS-CBN’s operations ceased, the world of mainstream media shifted dramatically. During that time, I found solace and an incredible opportunity in YouTube. Unlike traditional platforms, YouTube embraced diversity and gave creators like me the freedom to express ourselves authentically. Through this space, I’ve been able to share my life, connect with an incredible audience, and, most importantly, find my voice. I realized that success doesn’t always mean being on TV or winning a contest. It’s about staying true to yourself, creating meaningful connections, and finding joy in what you do.

Looking back, my audition wasn’t a failure—it was a stepping stone. It taught me to value my journey and appreciate the platforms that allow me to be unapologetically me. While mainstream media once felt like the ultimate dream, I now understand there are countless ways to make an impact. To anyone chasing their dreams, remember: every setback is a setup for something greater. The stage is wherever you make it—so make it yours. 🌟

🍳REVIEW: Perfect Size Multi-Cooker for Small Condominium Units and Apartments.

Living in a small-sized Condominium Units or Apartments is not an easy lifestyle. It takes tactfulness in choosing what to buy and what to bring inside your room as it has limited space. It is not advisable to buy full-sized appliances if you’re living in tiny rooms. Mostly, in purchasing cooking appliances; it has to be compact and multifunction.

I am recommending you this item that I bought from an online platform Lazada – a small electric multi-cooker.

WATCH THE VIDEO:

I’ve been using this multi-cooker for almost half a year now and I have no huge problem with it. At first, I was under the impression that it won’t last long since the price was kinda cheap and we all know that most of cheaper appliances when it comes to durability seemingly questionable. But after using this multiple times, the function is still perfectly fine – it still can cook.
The price is Php399

  • Made from non-stick ceramic coating + food grade PP.
  • Suitable to fry, steam, braised, stew, and all kinds of cooking purposes.
  • Adjustable power (225W/450W) to suit your cooking need.
  • Tempered glass lids cover for durability and safety.
  • Anti-scald pot handle with a comfortable grip.
  • Double safety protection with automatic power-off function when the temperature exceeds 200°C.
  • Equipped with fuse to prevent accidents in case temperature regulator faulty.
  • Material: Plastic, Stainless Steel, Wood
  • Capacity: 1.2L
  • Control Mode: Push Button
  • Electric/Hot Pot Function: Stir-Fry, Teppanyaki, Hot Pot, Stewing, Braising, Steaming, Frying, Frying, Boiling
  • Power: 225w-450w
  • Voltage: 250V, 10A
  • Size: 28x16x16cm(Product), 31x23x17cm(Packaging)
  • Weight: 620g(Net), 980g(Gross)
  • Package Included: 1.2L Stainless Steel Grade Multi-Cooker (Without Steamer) SB-D08, 1pc Wooden spade, 1pc AU Cord, Users Manual, Packaging Box
  • Available Color: Red, Beige, Mint Green

One thing that I only noticed is that the heating iron behind its actual cooker is not evenly heating. It is noticeable as the left part of the whole cooker is burned and the opposite side is not. But good thing, the Teflon (non-stick ceramic coating) is still fine after how many times I washed it. We just need to avoid using metal material to mix your foods and do not use the green side of the sponge while when washing.

Overall, I must say that this item is worth buying. For the amount of php399, until now I am still using it and it is still working.
