    What About Nokia 3310 Model?

The Nokia 3310 is a GSM mobile phone announced on 1 September 2000, and released in the fourth quarter of the year, replacing the popular Nokia 3210. It sold very well, being one of the most successful phones, with 126 million units sold worldwide, and being one of Nokia's most iconic devices. The phone is still widely acclaimed and has gained a cult status due to its immense durability. Several variants of the 3310 have been released, including the Nokia 3315, 3320, 3330, 3350, 3360, 3390, and 3395. The Nokia 3310 was produced at factories in Finland and Hungary. The 3315s were produced in South Korea for the Asia-Pacific market.

    Nokia 3310 (2017 Model).

In February 2017 - it was confirmed the enigmatic Nokia 3310 is making a resurgence through collaboration between Nokia and its exclusive Finnish handset developer HMD. But this isn’t just a comeback of the classic 3310. 17 years have passed and a numerous has changed.

The connectivity is still the same in the new version with Dual-band GMS 900/1800MHz, but with big new features that we truly find helpful - the Micro USB connector, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.5mm jack, microSD (cards up to 32GB), and FM radio.

Unlike the 2000 version, which has 900mAh removable battery, 2.5 - 4 hours talk time, and 55 hours standby the new version is improved with a 1200mAh removable battery, 22 hours talk time, and 31 days standby. Undeniably a big step up in line with the recent behaviors of phone users. When it comes to software, it has Nokia’s Series 30+ platform rather than Android which we usually used in the current age. It has this minimalist operating system that is purely for the basics usage. It has a 2MP rear camera with LED flash, basic video recording, and no camera on the front which I must say, don't expect more of it - this phone isn’t targeting the self-generation and photography enthusiast.

    Final Verdict.

So far, it works perfectly as a backup phone for my extra SIM Card. The audio is audible enough both for calls, listening to music, and FM radio. For its price and functionality, I can say that it is a good buy.
