Invited by my beloved The Pillar Publication - URS Binangonan family as a guest speaker for a seminar, I found myself immersed in this peaceful haven, aptly nicknamed "sosyal na bangin."

Team outings are always a great way to bond and unwind, and our recent trip to Cattleya Resort in Antipolo City was no exception! This team-building experience turned out to be a day filled with laughter, delicious food, fun activities, and unforgettable memories that brought us closer as teammates.

As this was our first time visiting Cattleya Resort, excitement filled the air as we arrived. Nestled amidst the lush greenery of Antipolo, the resort welcomed us with its vibrant, tranquil ambiance. The scenic surroundings instantly made us feel like we had escaped the hustle and bustle of city life. 

Fun and Games

The day was packed with activities that allowed us to unleash our competitive yet playful sides. From classic team-building games to some spontaneous fun in the pool, every moment was a mix of laughter and friendly competition. There’s something about bonding through games that strengthens connections beyond the workplace.

Karaoke, Drinks, and Food Galore

No Filipino gathering is complete without karaoke, and we made sure to bring the house down with our singing! Whether we were belting out our favorite hits or just cheering for our teammates, the karaoke sessions brought us closer and created some hilarious memories.

Of course, no outing is complete without great food. We indulged in a feast that included sinigang na baboy, perfectly grilled BBQ, and other hearty dishes that kept us fueled for the day. To cap it off, a few drinks added a celebratory touch to our outing, making the day even more special.

The serene environment of Antipolo and the well-maintained amenities of Cattleya Resort gave us the perfect backdrop to relax and connect. Whether it was lounging by the pool or simply chatting under the shade of the trees, every moment was cherished.

This weekend was nothing short of amazing! 🌴🍖 Our team headed to the scenic Cattleya Resort in Antipolo City for a fun-filled team-building experience that brought us closer together. Nestled in the hills of Antipolo, just a short 30-minute drive from Metro Manila but will take  3 hours due to congested traffic in  Ortigas Extension, the resort offered the perfect escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.

The highlight of the day? A classic Filipino-style boodle fight! We dined together with no utensils, sharing not just food but laughter and stories. The resort’s lush surroundings and serene vibe provided the ideal backdrop for our bonding activities. Whether it was diving into the pool, playing team games, or simply relaxing in nature, every moment was memorable.

Nestled just a few hours away from Metro Manila, this picturesque destination provided the perfect backdrop for team bonding and relaxation. The Greenery is situated in Sabang, Baliuag, Bulacan, approximately a 1.5 to 2-hour drive from Metro Manila. Its strategic location makes it an ideal weekend getaway for city dwellers seeking to escape the hustle and bustle. This sprawling estate features lush greenery, beautiful landscapes, and a serene ambiance perfect for families, friends, or even solo travelers looking for a peaceful retreat.

City Oasis Makati: A Festive Team Building & Christmas Party Venue Right in the City

For those looking to host a memorable event without the hassle of long travel, City Oasis Makati is a fantastic option. Located right in Makati, this indoor pool resort offers all the perks of a getaway without the need to drive to far-off places like Laguna or Antipolo. Although our booking was on the first level rather than the rooftop, we still had a fantastic view of the cityscape and enjoyed a unique blend of comfort and accessibility. This location made it easy for everyone to attend and added a touch of convenience to our 2024 Team Building and Christmas Party.

Our event was packed with great food, drinks, and, of course, some unforgettable karaoke sessions that kept the festive spirit alive. City Oasis Makati provided the perfect atmosphere to relax, bond, and let loose with colleagues. With a delicious spread to keep us fueled and the karaoke setup ready to go, the fun moments and musical talents made for plenty of laughs and lasting memories. Whether it was belting out favorite tunes or simply sharing in the joy of the season, the atmosphere was filled with holiday cheer.

The highlight of the day was our lineup of activities, including raffles, a gift exchange, and team-building games. These interactive events created a strong sense of camaraderie and excitement, bringing everyone closer and giving us all a chance to unwind and celebrate together. City Oasis Makati offered just the right mix of amenities and ambiance, making it a highly recommended venue for corporate events or holiday gatherings. ⛵ Experience the Wave Pool at Azure Urban Resort Residences.

THE AZURE WAVE POOL. A very own man-made beach comes with a wave machine that creates fun beach waves every few minutes.

We drove 30-40 minutes via Grabcar, all the way from Nichols Pasay to  KM 16 W Service Rd, Bicutan, Parañaque City- where Azure Urban Residences. Since one of my friends named Sol stayed there, she invited us to visit her place and experience the Azure Wave Pool. 

Azure Urban Residences has nine captivating mid-rise towers that are owned by private residents. But it became open to the public as it has its own amazing resort. In addition, the booming business of short-term lease also known as Staycation turns this place open to the visitors. Every building at the Azure is characterized by modern tropical aesthetics and design The establishment can be indulged and booked through Airbnb, among others.

One of the amenities -"The Paris Beach Club", is designed by celebrity Paris Hilton. It is a clubhouse in front of the Azure Wave Pool which encapsulates the essence of Paris, showcasing the designer's world-class standard in design, amenities, and services.

At the main gate, strict security is being practiced. You cannot go inside if you have no confirmed booking. In our case, the security guard called the tower's lobby where Sol is residing, to confirm the resident that they were expecting guests. Once arrived at the tower's lobby, another security measure is needed. you have to leave your Identification Card.

Inside ONE-BEDROOM where Sol resides. It has a TOTAL AREA: 28.863 sqm. 

There is a LAGOON POOL, but this is only exclusive to residents, the Azure’s lagoon pool is the next option for a more relaxed swim as the Wave Pool is surprisingly crowded.  I must admit, the place has a really fantastic view and can be bragged to your social media.

According to my friend who stayed there, you can even book a room for one night amounting to PHP1,500 and can accommodate 3-4 people. The Wave Pool has an entrance fee but since we're escorted by my friend, we got it for free. Unfortunately, the wave pool is not continuously offering its so-called waves. There is only a specific time they turn it on. 

Overall, I must say that, if you're looking for beach fun, this place is an alternative to consider because it is located in the Metro. But if you would like to relax, I cannot recommend it; due to overcrowded common areas. If you would like to visit the place for ocular and photography, then go for it. But seems this place is something that I won't visit again intentionally, just to swim. Somewhat, experiencing once is enough for me just to satisfy my curiosity.

🏄 Buying a Property at DECA Clark Residences and Resort in Angeles City, Good or Bad Decision?

Undeniably, having a permanent and decent dwelling is everyone’s dream. We strived hard for blood money to just posses your dream house and lot or condo unit.  But choosing a property nowadays is a challenge. You have to consider the location, the cost of the property, the quality; you need to forecast what will be the state of the community where your property located is, 10 years from now - is it depreciating or appreciating.

My officemate Maria Lourdes Tampolino, a mother of two decided to buy a property located in Brgy. Margot, Angeles City named Deca Clark Residences and Resort- its high elevation ensures flood-free subdivision and with its close proximity to Clark Freeport Zone, she gets fast access to the central hub for businesses and investments in the Philippines.

“I opted to get a property in this location because I can see the potential of this subdivision,” she said.

She pertains to the dramatic developing stage of the Clark- wherein it is being planned to be developed into a green city. Moreover, Clark International Airport is just a few minutes drive away from the Deca Clark. The shopping centers are just nearby like SM City Clark and Duty-Free.

The amenities of the subdivision are quite breathtaking. Inside, a private resort named Palo Verde Resort is located wherein you can indulge the pool and the restaurant for an amount of PHP120 entrance fee. The famous Deca Wake Park Clark; Wakeboard Park offers an 8-hectare resort complex that is indeed the selling point of the subdivision. In fact, this coming November 2019, the SEA GAMES for wakeboarding will be held there for two days.

DECA Clark Residences and Resort exhibit 2-story townhouses that usually have two bedrooms with one bath and toilet. There is also a designated phase where the bungalow houses are being offered. It has Landscaped Entrance Arch, Clubhouse, Free Swimming Pool for the homeowners (aside from the paid resort Palo Verde Place), Parks and Playground, Basketball Courts, Large landscaped open spaces, Tree-lined sidewalks, Streetlights, Security guards on location, Shuttle service, and the proposed 300-seater Church.

This property might locate far away from the bustling city of Manila but for Lourdes, she is proud that Angeles City has a different ambiance – a green city where she said – it is similar from the USA.
