The Silent and Placid Panglao Island During Night.

During sunset you can witness the dramatic change of orange sky which is very exquisite.

Moreover, Panglao Island during night is very silent, placid and perfect for relaxation. The Island’s nightlife is perfect for couple because of its romantic atmosphere. The calmness of the surroundings is very soothing.

In Dumaloan Beach Resort, aside from the waves that will serenade you, you can only hear the music from an acoustic band in one of the Bars along the beach. This Island is very diffrent from Boracay in Aklan. Boracay is very lively at night but with Panglao it is very tame environment.

But when we were at the Island, what we did was group jamming at the beach shore since I brought my guitar. The group decided to sleep at the shoreline, yes! Without tent and the only beddings we set up was the blanket that we got from our room. We slept entire night outside and luckily when we woke up, our cell phones and cameras were still there. Wow! Walang Magnanakaw!

The best thing about this place at night was the light from the hotels. It was very visually pleasant.

While the Team was jamming, the cottage adjacent to the area we were located someone asked if they can join us and i was able to video their sample talents

The Hot Entertainment with “Boracay Phoenix Fire Dancers”

On my fist night in the Island, I can’t avoid roving around since nightlife in the island is more exciting. With various people, nationality, bars, lights and entertainment that will surely trigger your excitement to party. Aside from those triggering factors, the performance of   “Boracay Phoenix Fire Dancers” is also a reason for you to get out from your hotel room and enjoy the night. A performance that will not only feast your eyes but also gives you a FUN fire experience.

“Boracay Phoenix Fire Dancers” is a freelance group of fire poi dancers base in the Island of Boracay, established in year 2007. Basically, before watching them, I already witnessed solo performance in some of the bar along the shore that night but they are the only group in the island of Boracay who started putting choreography and a twist of comedy from a traditional poi spinning, creating a great fire production. The way they entertained, they are very highly competent in performance.

You can catch them and watch their nightly performance at Beach Bum Bar Boracay. It is Located at Station 1, beside yellow cab and Havaianas shop. Experience the FUN and AMAZING fire show with these fire artists.

“For the long years of experience the group has gone through many achievements and we aim for better fire production to spice up the vacation of tourists who are visiting the island of Boracay.” Fredie Aviola said. Fredie Aviola is there Choreographer.  “We are trusted fire poi group by many of event planner and hotel organizers.” He added. Part of their performance experience are Miss earth 2009, ASAP XV summer station ID, PNA Philippine Nursing Association Convention,UNILAB ,MTV Asia Singapore,UNILIVER ,Rustan group of company,Farewell party for Vice President Noly Decastro,SMART summer event 2011,Ginebra San Miguel summer event 2010,VISCAR,Thunder bird Convention 2011,PEPSI Cola National convention 2011,Havaianas flip flops summer event 2011,Twice contender of Talentadong pinoy And many other corporate events.

Making the island of Boracay picturesque by night is the goal of this group as they gave opportunity to their audience to take photos with them after their fire dance production routine.

“I Love Tansyong” : With its Own Domain Name.

From a free blog host with subdomain http://ilovetansyong.blogspot.com , I started to supersede the world of no boundaries, limitless space for writing, and I can bring you the story from capturing my travels and adventures through my simple blog. It was July when I started my Travel Blog focusing on its content and its design.
Just this September 2013, I decided to buy my own domain from (easydns.com) EASYDNS TECHNOLOGIES, INC which is www.ilovetansyong.blogspot.com. Using my paypal account, I bought the domain for discounted amount of $120.00 for 10 years. From then, my statistics was tremendously increasing until now.

Undeniably, buying my own domain increases my credibility. My Travel blog looks like more professional. Moreover, the domain helps my brand name by making my blog more recognizable and memorable. Imagine from http://ilovetansyong.blogspot.com to www.ilovetansyong.com, its sound shorter and easy to remember right? Blogger will automatically redirect any traffic from my old subdomain to my new custom domain.

However associating a top level domain to your y blog is the only service which Blogger users need to pay for, like me who spent $120.00 .This is due to reason that the domain name will be provided by a third party service  which is EASYDNS TECHNOLOGIES, INC , and not from Blogger/Blogspot (or Google) themselves.
Overall, I am satisfied with my own domain. It only cost me $12 dollars annually (not bad).

In addition, my blog also is mobile-friendly page. You can easily visit my travel blog using your Phones and Tablets. Anytime, anywhere!. The “I Love Tansyong Mobile Platform” is easy to navigate and very responsive, however there are some features that you can’t utilize the most unlike if you are using your PC or Lappy.

Hope you will enjoy, this is for you guys.

Daks and Gams Wildlife Park in Bohol.

.
Watch the Video Below

Flying Lemur
The said, zoo is famous of its distinctive animal the so called Kagwang. Kagwang is a Visayan term for Philippines Flying Lemur. This endangered Kagwang or Philippine Flying Lemur (Cynocephalus volans) can be found in the wilderness of Bohol, Samar, Leyte and some parts of Mindanao. Although called a flying lemur, it cannot fly and is not a lemur. The Philippine flying lemur is arboreal and usually resides in primary and secondary forests. However, some wander into coconut, banana, and rubber plantations. It is also a nocturnal animal and it looks like a half bat half rat.

Aside from Kagwang, Daks and Gams is popular to its Pawikan, where-in you can touch it while the Pawikans are in the pond.  Pawikan or simply Sea turtle are abundant in Bohol but endangered Species. Sea turtles or marine turtles are turtles that inhabit all of the world's oceans except the Arctic. But Bohol is very blesses because Bohol is most preferred habitat of the said specie.

Large ostriches are also available for viewing inside. Wildcats are one of the attractions also. Snake and Eagles are also stunning animals that will surely captured your attention.

All dead animals were stuffed and preserved so that the visitors can still witness on what animals they used to have. Stuffed monkeys, frogs, wildcats, snakes and bird are displayed in one specific dry area.

Aside, from animals Daks and Gams are also offering botanical garden for ocular. Abundance of orchids is nurtured and ornamental plants. You can also buy if you want.
Orchids
The first time I went in this park, when I was in grade six as part of the Field trip. The latest time was just year 2010 and it was very different, entrance fee is php 20 only per person. When I entered, it seems that the place was not maintained well, there were cobwebs in the cages of the animals. The surrounding is not that clean compared to the first time I visit the place. Perhaps due to the numbers of zoo in Bohol are now operating, “Daks and Gams”

What should I expect ahead?

Advertisement by Google:

I been writing and travelling, but I asked myself what should I expect ahead? Maybe one year from now, then who Am I? Very tough question that even other traveler cannot answer it to be specific. I also write an article about “Reasons Why to create a blog?” but after that what are those things that I need to prepare?

World is very huge, maybe someday I can rove around the world but after that, is there anything else waiting for me?

Lot of questions, which bothered me every time I travel, Should I expect better or for worst waiting ahead for me? Am I prepared for this? Or is it all in my mind?

While also reflecting every morning I woke up with a cup of coffee during travel, Today is a brand new day therefore a brand new story.

Truly, travelling is not just being physically and financially prepared, but what a matter most is psychologically and emotionally preparation. For me to embrace the entire world and become a true traveler, I need to give up everything what I have. I need to let go my Job, my friends and all the factors that hinds me to travel the whole world and I need to go out from my comfort zone. But the question is am I prepared for it? There are Pros and Cons that I need to consider, but I need also to take risk in every decision of my life due to the fact that a person who is afraid to take risk will not enjoy life.

Today, I am currently employed and I am working for a living. I know that my Job is my bread and butter. But I have to choose, do I need to give up my work so that I can travel spontaneously or Do I need to work and fighting for “One day or two day vacation leave” every time I Travel?.  This November, I have lot of scheduled Travel (all set) but my “vacation leave” was disapproved, it was very frustrating to me, so frustrating!

I come up this article based on what I’m feeling write now. I am upset, due to the fact that I felt I’m a detainee, Prisoner, without freedom. I found out traveling as a stress reliever from my entire day of work. Traveling is one reason why I strive hard because if I earned money I can sustain my wanderlust. Today, I am currently in a state of predicament, to resign or not.

Life is full of challenge, in an infinite numbers of things that needs a decision making. Remember, you cannot worship two Gods at the same time. So I have to choose one!  But remember also, you can love two persons at the same time but not at the same level, so therefore I can do traveling and working simultaneously but the effectiveness is not in the same level and one will suffer ,So difficult, So much!

For now, maybe I need to sleep first and relax my emotion. My friend told me, Don’t make any decision if you are upset and Don’t make any promises during happiness.

Answering the Question “What should I expect ahead?” is just like the feeling of answering the question during your travel ‘”What should I expect ahead in my destination?” too difficult to answer but looking forward for fun. Make sense?

10 Ways to successful Travel blogging in Five Months Part 1

In the same manner, when I decide to enter this way of life with the awareness of how difficult it is, I still choose it. Because living in my comfort zone is like stagnant water, so placid, so boring. So I have to do something about it, I challenge myself to become a travel blogger. So challenging but fun to do with, right?

Below, I will share my experience in a span of 5 months of blogging and you can consider it as a tip if you are planning to start a travel blog.
Advertisement by Google:
1. Start From Nothing.
I am not a writer in nature; I am not an innate photographer, I am not a real journalist. But I was trained to write, to capture and to bring the story. Formal writing is my weakness, but my strength is the willingness to learn it. Accepting constructive and destructive criticism is a huge help for me to improve my way of writing. Grammar, Cohesive, Coherence and arrangement so on so forth, things that I need to improve.

I started not a writer but a reader, follower and aficionado of blogs that are already established online. I started from out of nothing but to dream that someday I can also travel. I could also blog about it, but I admit I had no confidence that I could write a sentence at first.

Moreover, another issue is financial concern; remember that a car w/o gasoline will not function. So, I need enough money to start travelling, or else I can’t create a story if I am not able to witness it personally. So, I allocate a portion from my salary every payday and I experienced a tight budget way of life just to sustain my wanderlust.

Aside from that, I prepared my skill, I studied html in my own way (for blog), expose myself to adobe photoshop (enhancing photo), and started to sign up in social media(for promotion).

2. Setting a Target.
July 1st 2013, when I started to blog, I set up a target to post 150 articles within 6 months. In each articles should consists 500 to 600 words with a least 1 photo in each post. So that’s most likely 25 posts a month or it should be in a daily updates. It was very impossible for me to do so, since I am currently working fulltime for my job. But I am very eager to hit my target. Setting a target will push you to do more and unconsciously you will able to do it.

I know I can do it, because I believe that “what my mind can conceive, my body can achieve”. Despite of constraints, my laptop was stolen, and I don’t have a camera. So how can I bring the story?

3. Familiarize the Battle Field
Mapping the terrain is the best way to win in a battle. An army should be prepared on whatever will happen ahead. You should be fully equipped before entering in a fight.

As a travel blogger, I planned my travel ahead of time, research the place and what are the best spots to visit. Know the culture, the people and the accessibility. Read other blogs, books or research about the place so that you can start now forecasting the expenses that you can spend. Prepare also an emergency fund for any fortuitous events that you might encounter. Don’t risk yourself if you are not physically prepared, if you are sick don’t risk your life or else you’ll not enjoy the whole travel. Be mentally prepared, when you are already in the location list all your ideas or stories that might worth writing for, and captured more photo.

4. Focus on the Content
Focus the content first; you need to be specific in every article.

In Feature writing your best friend is thesaurus, but in blogging you need to choose the SEO friendly words. Do not use words that are not SEO friendly however what matters most is you can penetrate the World of Search engine. This will helps your blog to gain more traffic.

Content is more important because it is the soul of your blog site.

Do not forget to create an about page- it is an info about what the blog is all about and who is the author. By creating this page, you let to know your readers that this blog is authentic and not just a spam. Don’t also forget to create contact page- where in others can easily contact you. Lastly create policy information page- where-in you are going to inform the readers about your blog policy privacy (You can google policy privacy generator.)

5. Choose the Blog Design
Blog motif /color are important because the first impression of the readers starts from the design of your blog. Personally, I preferred a light color blog because it is visually pleasant, light and easy to read. Light color is more professional and can quickly attract reader. Choose also a blog design which is responsive and easy to navigate, by that, your page views will increase. Don’t use a blog design that display all your post in your main page, it will result to a slow loading page that leads your readers to give up on waiting for the entire page to load. Instead choose a blog design (can be download for free online) which offers to summarize you posts so that the loading is fast.

Use also “related post” tools so that in every article there were related posts will appears that the readers might like and basically they will click it.

Don’t forget you’re to include a header image to your entire site, your header or logo is a trademark and it is the window to your blog’s soul.
